The Society had a Library for many years and, in 1986, donated the entire collection to the Genealogy Department of the Jacksonville Public Libraries (Downtown Branch). Included was the life-long work of A. Vernon Coale, Heraldic Artist (which was donated to the Society by his widow.)
The genealogical books which have been donated to our Society since that time, have been indexed and will be available, on a limited basis, for use by our members.
In 2006, our office located on College Street was closed. If you would like to review any of the books in the Library, you will need to contact the JGS President to make an appointment.
Books CAN NOT be checked out.
If you have books which you no longer need and wish to donate them to the JGS Library, they would be appreciated.
