The Society had a Library for many years and, in 1986, donated the entire collection to the Genealogy Department of the Jacksonville Public Libraries (Downtown Branch). Included was the life-long work of A. Vernon Coale, Heraldic Artist (which was donated to the Society by his widow.)
In 2006, our office located on College Street was closed and genealogical books which had been donated to our Society since 1986 were put into storage. In 2017, the Board voted to donated the entire collection to the Genealogy Department of the Jacksonville Public Libraries (Downtown Branch) and to the Florida History and Genealogy Department of the Clay County Headquarters Library (Fleming Island).
